I'm making a shift towards higher-profile equipment. However, it isn't free and thus I've decided to get rid of some gear. I've got Roland SCD-15 bundle complete with SCB-55, original package, all manuals and all disks. The disks appear to be working fine and I've also backed them up as disk images to separate CD. I decided to ask here for interest before trying to auction it off. Do sensible offers, this baby is worth more than 10€ and I'm not going to pay the shipment Smiley

If needed, for little additional money I could also include GUS Extreme (sound card and driver CD), SB AWE32 PnP CT3980 with 8MB of RAM & WB header (sound card, driver floppies, manuals) or/and Creative Ensoniq AudioPCI (sound card only).

The gear is located in Finland. I'll ship within European Union (certainly no duties). For other countries it's a matter of discussion since I have never done commerce outside EU.

So it's the daughterboard that should be technically the same as a SC-55, right? Is there a difference between the SCB-55 and the SCD-15?

How much would the shipping fees be?

No, the daughterboard is the equilavent of an SC-55mkII.  The SCB-55 refers to just the daughterboard, the SCD-15 refers to the whole package with manuals and software.  (I'm not sure whether it includes a MPU-401/AT card as well.)

It doesn't.
The SCD-15 is the daughterboard only (plus software).

The bundle with both SCB-55 and MPU-401AT is apparently known as SCC-2. Mine doesn't have MPU-401AT.

Postage to Germany appears to be priced accordingly: Below 1 kg 21.40€; 2 kg 22.55€; 3 kg 23.65€; 4 kg 24.75€; 5 kg 25.85€. More than I anticipated, source http://www.posti.fi/hinnat/paketitulkomaille/economylisapalveluineen.html.

Letter prices are located at http://www.posti.fi/hinnat/kirjeetulkomaille/. If I can make that package weigh less than 2 kg (sizewise it'd still be maxi letter; maksikirje) the price would be no more than 15.10€.

Whoops, those are really high shipping fees. I didn't expect that much.

I am sure, your hardware is in nice condition with all the docs, drivers and so on... However, if the shipping fees are about the same price as I'd be willing to pay for the SCD-15 itself (20 EUR), I tend to take a closer look on eBay offers here in germany. :-)

Yup, with equipment having low value like this the shipping price gets restrictive. As you probably know, the German eBay has quite a selection of items available, though I don't see any of those daughterboards there right now (only Yamaha DB50XG's). I've actually gathered quite a load of stuff from there within two months with list including Roland U-110, four SN-U110 expansion cards, 256 megabytes of rare SPARCStation EDO DIMMs and Yamaha MU50. Soon I'll be looking for Roland JV-1080 Smiley

I'm looking for one, but I'll find one in North America....  Shipping to Canada would be awful!  Sad

Shipping prices via our postal system don't seem to grow that much. While postage to Germany costs 15.10, to Canada it appears that it wouldn't be more than 18.50. Then again, surface transfer of that package would take quite a long time and there's still the question of shipping cost proportions' sensibility.

Well, if there's an online setup where you can check shipping costs, you can see how much it would cost to AIR freight to:

Lacombe, Alberta (AB) Canada
Postal code:  T4L 1N3

Who knows?  Smiley
