Hi all,

I am new to the DOSbox way of playing games but already made some old Sierra games run successfully with it, although not yet with my MT-32 as I still need a midi cable to connect it to my sound blaster game port.

I still do have a small problem with DOSbox though and I couldn't seem to find a direct answer on the DOSbox web site. I am using a Belgian AZERTY type keyboard, but DOSbox does default to the US QWERTY layout. Luckily I also know the QWERTY layout as I'm used to work with that also, so I can find my way around but typing qwerty on a keyboard with a different layout printed on it is rather confusing.

So I tried running KEYB.COM from my copy of MS-DOS 6.22 to change the layout but that prompted back with "incorrect dos version"...
On the forums of DOSbox I found a reference to KEYB from FreeDOS but I have problems locating that single file on the web.

Is there anyone who can help me out here?

Hi Marc,

I'm also from Belgium (Kortrijk) and faced the same problem.
I hunted down a Freedos (MSDOS-compliant) keyboard driver.
It works very good in Dosbox.

I don't remember were I got it from, so I uploaded it myself.
You can find it at : http://users.pandora.be/frederik.masselus/KEYB_BE.zip

Just unzip the zip file into your Dosbox mounted directory and
add 'keyb be' to the last part of your 'dosbox.conf'.
Or just type it in when starting up Dosbox.
Now you should have Azerty on Dosbox.

Good luck
