Ari:
OK, let me defuse this situation, by being honest without being rude.
Basically, I posted, wishing people season's greetings. In the course of that, I made a joke, or a throwaway line, whatever.
Now, this is where opinions differ.
You and Tom thought it was inappropriate, myself and others didn't.
Regardless of whether you thought that, the next thing to happen was for you both to basically insult me. Again, regardless of whether you thought that my original comment was inappropriate, as administrators of the forum you could (and should, speaking as an admin of 2 boards myself) have handled it better.
I've said it before and will say it again- use PM's. Or edit my post and contact me about it.
You want the truth? I posted that last comment because I was deeply hurt. My understanding of recent events between Tom and I was that although we weren't good friends, or whatever, we were working together and trying to do what was in each other's best interests, and our site's best interests. I have no malice or ill-will towards QuestStudios, far from it- it gave me my knowledge.
So to get slugged with the comments made by Tom and yourself, that really hit me for six. I thought your comment was a cheap shot, and both your words hurt me quite a bit.
Anyway. Last time I make a joke around here.
And let's get back to the point, Christmas.

I have absolutely zero interest in a fight. I don't understand the very people saying my comment was inappropriate, derailing the thread with mini-flames about me. Far more inappropriate than any of my comments, in my book.
Merry Christmas to everyone, and a happy new year- Season's Greetings! I've also got an update to my website coming (wow!!), so the future of Sierra music looks pretty good, given how often QS is updating these days.
Anyone got any good New Year's parties to go to? I'll probably spent it with my wife, perhaps some other family.
Also: I only just noticed this comment from Wodball, since I'm only just no longer upset-
I guess I'm late to the "Season Greetings" party. Well, that seems to be the theme of my life these days.
I know exactly how you feel, I'm late to class, late with college assignments, miss deadlines for the forums and websites I run, etc.
But the REAL problem is when I make my wife late.
