Fixed the links (not that anyone cared).

I would care to see the links in the Game Blaster, IBM Music Feature and Casio threads fixed.

Finally got a chance to sit down and listen to the clips you added recently of music from Golvellius (a game I'm not familiar with).  Quite nice!

I've added two tracks to the parent post that have been sitting on my hard-drive for some time.

The first is from the DOS port of Castlevania. The Ad Lib music from this game has a sort of (horrible) notoriety, so I suspect that the lesser-heard Tandy playback ought to be a bit... refreshing.

The second is a segment of the wedding ceremony from King's Quest VI (CD), including the spoken dialogue. Gotta love that venerable Tandy PSSJ.

Thanks for the Gods recording Cloudschatze Smiley

Too bad it does not use the DAC also like those Rob Hubbard musics, it would fit perfect to the intro music.

Anything in particular?

Those Hubbard tunes don't actually use the DAC at all, but instead do PWM through the 3-voice, SN76496 core. Activision's OmniMusic driver works similarly (in supported games), by providing PWM sound-effect playback on just about every device known to man - PC Speaker, OPL2/3, SN76496, SID, SAA1099P, etc. Who needs a DAC, right? Smiley

In any event, for a nice example of 3-voice music combined with (PSSJ) DAC drums/SFX, check out the "4D-Boxing" clip that Jim Leonard (Trixter) provided for the Crossfire-Designs, "Phenomenal!" article: http://www.crossfire-designs.de/index.php?lang=en&what=articles&name=showarticle.htm&article=soundcards&page=4

Whatever you choose is alright with me, but since you ask... I would love to see more recordings of that other sound card, the Game Blaster.

I never played Hard Nova. How do you set it to AdLib or MT-32 mode?
