Does anyone here have a MQX-32m midi interface that they are not using and looking to sell?  Please PM me if you do as we are looking to buy a much needed replacement for our prior one, or if you have any ideas for other ways to go about finding this rather elusive item.

Thanks!  Smiley

Is there any particular reason you specifically want a Music Quest card? What's so special about it?

And I'd say eBay's your best bet.

Perhaps it is for sentimental reasons in part.  My boyfriend is the one who needs the card.  He is a musician and still deeply fond of using Sequencer Plus as it is by far the most stable composing environment he has used and is suited to his style of sequencing.  This midi interface is one of the few multi-port midi cards that worked with Sequencer Plus.  He had a MQX-32m for over 15 years, which is sadly gone now and he would like to replace it.  It is rare enough that Ebay doesn't even have any.  Usually, any posts I find in searching online regard people wanting them.  I noticed that someone here had one they were considering selling back in January, so I PM'd him and also thought I would reach out to everyone and see if anyone else had one laying around they no longer wanted.

Yeah....another Sequencer Plus user!!!!

Unfortunately, I have to use two single port interfaces with SpG; a Roland MPU-IPC and surprisingly, a Turtle Beach Riviera PCI card.  They coexist and function independently, perfectly!  I was shocked to discover that SpG would recognize this PCI interface (since SpG is strictly DOS), but it works beautifully using one of Voyetra's generic (and older) MPU drivers.

Also note that SpG will work perfectly with most older Sound Blaster ISA cards that have a MIDI port.  One of my PC's has both a Roland MPU-IPC and Sound Blaster AWE32, and the other PC is configured as I mentioned above.  (VAPI and SAPI.)  I have a Voyetra multiport interface as well, but have never been able to get it to work with SpG...even with Voyetra's V-22 drivers.
