Need help getting Croc:Legend of the Gobbos to run under XP.

Happens shortly into gameplay on the normal version, immediatly in D3D. I am running WinXP SP2.

Compatibility mode only made it worse.

My video card is NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700LE.
Sound card is Creative SB Live! Series. Controller is Logitech Dual Action.

This isn't where I would normally ask this, but I have had it with VOGONS!

You should try a Glide wrapper. No problem here with OpenGlide or psVoodoo.

Unfortunately, the Glide wrapper doesn't seem to work for me. Do I need to use specific settings, or is there an issue with the sound card or computer speed?

I don't think so, it runs out of the box for me without compatibility mode. I'm using the standard OpenGlide settings. My sound card is a good old Live Value with the latest Creative drivers.

Seemed to work fine when I deactivated the Sound Blaster. Of course, that means playing with no sound!
