PCM cards for MT-32? HUH?

I just stumbled across this:


Where the hell would this plugin to?
The MT-32 does not have an expansion port, and I've opened my MT-32, it does not have any place to connect this card inside either.

Anybody know about these?

It's a card containing sounds recorded from/modeled after the MT-32 designed for insertion into a modern module, obviously. Hence "vintage".

I've opened my MT-32 numerous times, to clean it and to replace a blown 7805.

Yes, but Japanese people aren't known for always using the correct preposition.
And again, the "vintage" part gives it away. It wouldn't be "vintage" if it had been made during the MT-32's heyday.
