I don't know if I'm a bad "googler" but I can't seem to find a picture of how a Sound Blaster 1.0 looks like..only of SB 1.5 and 2.0

SB 1.0 will have the two CMS-301 solder on board. Plus the IC chip near the upper right corner, without the resister. (SB 1.5 will have the resister solder already. ) PC

Actualy got one of these so here's a pic of this card, it feels like you're holding a piece of history in your hand: Still looking for the software that came with this card, drivers like ctvoice.drv etc will be needed for some games

Interesting, and yet, doesn't the CT-1320x still make it an SB 1.5?

Interesting, and yet, doesn't the CT-1320x still make it an SB 1.5? Well, compare it to the pic of my SB 1.5 here, the PCB just has a different colour and the components like caps seem to be of another manafacturer or just different vintage

Any idea what the DSP version is? Plus the IC chip near the upper right corner, without the resister. (SB 1.5 will have the resister solder already. )
Also, this is not accurate; I have a CT-1320c without this resistor.

Cloud,
got a photo for your ct-1320c?
My ct-1320a looks exactly like the one Amigaz posted.

Cloud,
got a photo for your ct-1320c? I'll take a few tomorrow... My ct-1320a looks exactly like the one Amigaz posted. So, I'm confused. Creative's own website states that the SB 1.0 is CT-1310, and the SB 1.5 is CT-1320. Did the SAA-1099 chips become optional after the 1.5 was released (between the "A" and "B" revisions)?

Actually... SB 1.0's CMS chip is soldered direct onto the board. Haven't seen a SB 1.0 with CT-1310 marking yet. I got one SB 1.5 I bought 20 yrs ago... with CT-1320c marking as well... and 2 empty socket for CMS-301, and the resister soldered on upper right IC.
So far haven't seen any CT-1320b yet.
The Circuit Board's dark green color on my SB 1.0 is the same color found on my CT-1300 Game Blaster.

I thought I was onto something, but apparently Creative's own (mis)information contradicts itself. Some of their sites state that the SB 1.0 is CT-1310, and others state that the CT-1320 was used for both the SB 1.0 and 1.5. So far haven't seen any CT-1320b yet. Salient should have one coming, unless this is just a typo: http://www.a1usedcomputers.com.au/shop/prodView.asp?idproduct=311

When I ordered that card I never took note of the B. So IF it is true and it IS a CT1320B I should cherish it and guard it with my life I suppose since it would be very rare? Anyway, the picture looks like 'just' a CT1320C however, but it is hard to see on that small pic, I think I notice one difference: On the left lower corner I see no little hole where the CT1320C has one. Once it's here I'll tell you what type it is.

Cloud,
got a photo for your ct-1320c?
Not the greatest of pictures (wrong lens), but here you go... Click on each photo to view a larger version. Sound Blaster 1.5, CT-1320C Serial #065742 DSP Ver. 1.05 Sound Blaster 1.5, CT-1320C Serial #191009 DSP Ver. 2.00 Sound Blaster 1.5, CT-1320C Serial #205824 DSP Ver. 2.00 There are slight component changes with each card. On the last, the OPL2 and its DAC are soldered even, rather than socketed.

Hi, Well I received the card today and after all it IS a CT1320B, so probably one of the very rare ones I guess. Here is a pic of it:

So, how about those DSP versions...? It would be nice to know if anything exists other than 1.00, 1.05, and 2.00...
