I read an article on hackaday.com about this little circuit board.
It was primarily designed to add a MIDI port to a gameboy advance or DS, but can be interfaced to basically anything.
If you read the post @ hackaday you can see that some guy used it in his microwave.  Shocked

Personally, I wonder how useful this is in acutally adding midi functionality to homebrew platforms.

Now I think this is a cool gadget, but I don't really have a cool idea as to where I'd put it, do you guys have suggestions?

You can probably use this thing to make any kind of wavetable add-on card external, however there are already other methods for that. Or maybe it's possible to make an SCC-1 external with this....
