About time I got around to posting this here Smiley

A few weeks ago Barry Leitch gave me a MIDI file, something he had swore to hold onto because of it's rarity. The MIDI file was a Roland MT-32 remix of the C64's Tetris music, composed entirely by Wally Beben himself. Barry asked me to record it for his podcast that was played last Sunday on the BitJam internet stream. As far as Barry and I are aware, no one had even heard of this remix until it was broadcast in the podcast last week.

After the podcast was played, Barry said I could go ahead and release the remix for everyone to hear Wink

Wally Beben - Tetris (Roland MT-32 Remix)

There are no custom patches and the track is around 24-25 minutes long, so it's about 50MB to download (it's quality 8 ogg vorbis).

I miss the electric guitar of the original, but for only using stock patches, this is quite nice Smiley

I've never heard the original but I liked this. It's a bit repetitive and doesn't really start up until quite a few minutes in but I enjoyed it anyway. nice melodies!

Well, it's as repetitive as tetris.

All glory to the soviet union and it's games which are better than the puny capitalist pig-dog's games!  Tongue
