I just watched the Big Lebowski again and there's a Gipsy Kings cover of Hotel California that features prominently in one of the bowling scenes. The musical intro that the Gipsy Kings put on the song to replace the original Eagles one sounds...well, to be honest it sounds exactly like the melody about 3/4 the way through that Quest for Glory 4 intro song.
The Hotel California cover is from 1988, making me think that it was more influential than it should have been for this particular game track.
