I found this program that let's you add text in midi files that display on the LCD of Yamaha MU-modules: http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~xn8f-szk/product/vb.htm (by Sat)

It is in japanese so it could be difficult to use, maybe there is an similar english program available?

I am also wondering if there is an easy to use program for adding animations also?

I remember the high-up roland rep who demoed the 1st Sound Canvas... he talked about trying to make animation on the screen like in Star Games and how difficult/frustrating it was.  Cheesy

The "easy" way is to see what stargames.mid does on LCD demo.

There is nothing like that (.mid file) in XG ?

The stargame.mid is hardly exclusive to Roland SC devices, as you can see here :

I saw some new tracks on your website. Excellent, I love the Chase music!! Really good sounds you have.

I don't run this website, I run the other Sierra music website, linked in my profile.

From memory, the ones on this website are the ROTD ones and the 8850 version of Whitney. There may be another.

I'm glad I remembered you, I almost confused you with one of the Sachal brothers (I think he might be a Matthias as well..).

Hi!

Thanks for your feedback!

Yes, it was a good mix with my Yamaha O2R! Smiley

No,I don't know these Sachal Brothers!

I have here an older mix from Leisure Suit Larry 3: Casino

http://www.mdstudio.de/audio/Larry_Casino.mp3

I've found yesterday an other unfinished Iceman SC8850 conversion on my sequncer computer, may be I want to make a mix from this and finished the midi! Smiley

I found an program that lets you make "stargame" like animations, it's called WSC55.
It can be downloaded form here: http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/wsc55/ or here:http://home5.swipnet.se/~w-55114/index2.htm
