Having sought out and recorded some of the better examples of "Tandy" music, I'm always pleasantly surprised to discover something new and impressive. Such is the interesting case of Lemmings 2. As far as support goes, this game is likely one of the last to even offer Tandy as a sound option - all the more interesting given that, due to the VGA requirement, this game is playable (with music) on exactly one stock Tandy model: the 1000 RLX.

While the prior Lemmings releases also have rather nice Tandy soundtracks, Lemmings 2 really takes things to another level through extensive use of programmed ASDR/modulation/chorus/reverb-type effects, resulting in some of the most "musical" stuff I've yet heard out of the Tandy.

So, without further ado, enjoy these excerpts from...

Lemmings 2: The Tribes
Space tribe
Cavelems
Circus tribe
Polar tribe
Beach tribe
Egyptian tribe

Yeah some of these songs sounds very well done, above the usual 3-voice stuff that I've heard from the system. They could pass for Sega Master System songs, which I've always considered enjoyed better music in spite of having similar musical abilities to the Tandy. Cool stuff.
